The Customer Privacy Policy is an electronic form of the Privacy Policy given to our customers when an account is opened.  The Internet Privacy Policy has been our business standard from the time our web site was introduced, and it works in conjunction with the Customer Privacy Policy.

Keeping Up With Our Privacy Policy

As a result of federal legislation, we're required to notify you of our policies regarding the sharing of confidential personal information.  We will annually  provide you with a copy of our Privacy Policy for as long as the customer relationship is maintained.  We reserve the right to change this policy at any time, but you will be notified of any changes.  If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact your nearest Citizens Savings and Loan office.

Information We Collect

In order to provide you with the best possible service for your account, we collect personal information about you.  This includes such things as your name, address, telephone number and social security number.  The types of accounts you hold and services you use, such as ATM or debit cards, will determine the types of information we may have.  We collect this information from the following sources:

*    Information we receive from you on applications or other forms.
*    Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others.
*    Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such as a credit bureau. When We Will Disclose
      Your Information

We do not disclose any personal information about you to anyone, except as permitted by law or as described below.  We may disclose some of the information we collect, as described in the Information We Collect section, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements, such as credit card or insurance companies.  This is done to provide you with information about additional products and services that may benefit you or enhance your experience as our customer.  Some examples would include information about credit life or property insurance, credit cards, annuities, etc.

Be assured that all of these companies agree, in writing, to keep the information shared with them secure and confidential.  They are not allowed to use your information for any purpose outside our written agreement.  In addition, we will not provide or sell your personal information for the purpose of telemarketing or direct mail marketing of any non-financial products or services.  This has long been our policy, and it will not change.  It is our commitment to you, our customer. How We Protect Your Information

We restrict access to your personal information to those employees who need to know that information.  All employees must sign an agreement to maintain customer confidentiality and employees who violate that agreement are subject to disciplinary action.  In addition, we maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your personal information.

Maintaining Accurate Information

We are committed to maintaining accurate and complete records and diligently pursue the resolution of any reported or known inaccuracies or discrepancies.  If you feel that our records contain inaccurate or incomplete information, please contact your nearest Citizens Savings and Loan office.  We will investigate your concerns and resolve the inaccuracy or discrepancy.

When you or we end the customer relationship, your personal information is treated as though you were still our customer.

1.  We do not gather any information about individual users of our web site.  However, we do collect and store information about the domain from which you access the Internet, such as AOL, the date and time you access our web site, the Internet address of the web site you linked to us from, if applicable.  All information is collected in the aggregate and is used for internal review purposes only.  It allows us to see which areas of our site are the most useful to you, what links are the most effective and when our site is being used most.

If you provide personal information to us, such as on our First Step Application or our Guest Book, none of that information will be shared or sold to any external organizations which are not wholly owned by Citizens Savings and Loan, unless we have informed you, gotten authorization from you or we are required to do so by law.  This information, as well as all of your activities with us, is held to our very strict security and confidentiality standards.

If you choose to contact us via e-mail, please remember that your e-mail address and any other information included in your e-mail header or signature, will be revealed to us in the e-mail.  However, under our strict security and confidentiality standards, this information, including your e-mail address, will only be used for responding to your comments or questions.  We will never sell or divulge your e-mail address to any external organizations which are not wholly owned by Citizens Savings and Loan, unless we are compelled to do so by law.

Occasionally, we use a "cookie" to provide you better service when you visit our web site.  A cookie is a small piece of information, stored on your Web browser and your computer, that we can retrieve the next time you visit.  A cookie can only be read by the web site that placed the cookie on your computer.  We use cookies for a number of administrative reasons.  For example, we will store your preferences for certain types of information or store your password so you do not have to input it every time you visit our Web site.  Most cookies last only through a single visit, and none will enable anyone to contact you by telephone, e-mail or mail via the United States Postal Service.
